How NerrieServer, operating NerrieBuilder, handles your personal data.

Data controller

NerrieBuilder is a product and trade name of NerrieServer, registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce. NerrieServer is the data controller for the personal data processed via NerrieBuilder. This privacy policy explains which data we process and why.

What data we process

We process the data you provide to us and that is needed to deliver NerrieBuilder, including: your name and email address, login and account details, your project and subscription data, invoicing and payment data, and technical data such as IP address and log data needed for security, abuse prevention and the proper operation of the platform. Content you put in your own project is processed only to host and display the service for you.

Why and on what basis

We process your data to enter into and perform an agreement with you (delivering the service and invoicing), to comply with legal obligations (such as tax administration), and on the basis of our legitimate interest in a secure, working and improved platform. We do not sell your data.

Sharing with third parties

We only share data where necessary for the service, for example with our payment and hosting partners (processors), or where we are legally required to. We make the legally required arrangements with processors. For AI functionality, the prompt you enter may be processed by an AI provider, solely to generate your result.

Some processors (for example an AI provider) may process data outside the European Economic Area (EEA), such as in the United States. Where that happens, we put appropriate safeguards in place, such as the Standard Contractual Clauses adopted by the European Commission, so your data keeps an equivalent level of protection there too.

Retention period

We do not keep your data longer than necessary for the purposes mentioned above, or for as long as we are legally required to (invoicing data, for instance, is kept in line with the tax retention obligation). After that we delete or anonymise your data.

Security

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data. However, no online service is entirely risk-free; we cannot guarantee absolute security and are, to the extent permitted by law, not liable for damage from security incidents beyond our reasonable control.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict and port your personal data, and the right to object to certain processing. To exercise these, contact us at info@nerrieserver.nl. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority.

Cookies

NerrieBuilder uses only functional and necessary cookies required to log in and run the platform securely. We do not use third-party advertising tracking on the portal.

We may amend this privacy policy. The current version is always on this page.
